I started CrossFit in 2013 and was IMMEDIATELY hooked. I was looking for a way to get stronger while playing soccer, so I would stop getting shoved off the ball. 1 class from a Groupon (remember those!?) turned into 11++++ years of loving being in the gym! I've always been disciplined, always empowered by the pursuit of getting better in sports, so it was no surprise that I wanted to start coaching fairly early in order to help others achieve their goals. I started coaching in 2014 and have coached on and off since - the 'off' mostly due to having my 2 babies in 2022 & 2023! My love of coaching and learning had me going from getting my L1  to getting my L2, and then my love of CrossFit turned me on to a fierce passion for Olympic Weightlifting! I was like, wait - I can lift without having to run??? Sign me up, lol! Weightlifting became my #1 for a few years, so in turn, I got my USAW L1 cert, followed by my L2. When I got pregnant in 2021, I knew I wanted to educate myself so that I could continue training pre- & postpartum, while also giving myself the tools to share with others going on the same journey. I took a certification through Girls Gone Strong, then another through Core Exercise Solutions. Currently, my passions lie in helping women in their pregnancy & postpartum journeys to feel confident and empowered to continue to thrive in (and out!) of the gym.
